Creating Canopies in Liverpool for National Tree Day

tree planting, wearing protective black gloves

Come along for a morning of tree planting at Schoeffel Park. We're planting trees to help cool down Sydney and create valuable habitats for birds and other wildlife.

There will be Indigenous weaving workshops from Nula Weaving, a LIVE band, face painting, sausage sizzle, barista-made-coffee, and a Plant Giveaway!

Sat, 27 Jul 2024 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM AEST

Strzlecki Drive Horningsea Park, NSW 2171

Green spaces aren't just great for wildlife, they're also associated with better physical health, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Plus they cool down our neighborhoods! Now's your chance to get involved with greening your community.

Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen, and bring a drinking bottle with water.

On-site training, tools, and BBQ LUNCH will be provided.

RSVPs are essential, to avoid disappointment please register ASAP.
