The Georges Riverkeeper General Meeting was kindly hosted by Liverpool City Council at the Casula Powerhouse. Our guest speaker, Roshan presented on Liverpool City Council’s Water Quality Management Framework, which sets the direction on all water related elements to achieve best management practice.

There was also a lively discussion on the Green and Golden Bell Frogs, a vulnerable species within the catchment, as Marion Huxley, Georges Riverkeeper’s aquatic ecologist had attended a workshop on the frogs. Councils were given a reminder that Get the Site Right campaign has happening in May with most of our member Councils participating.
