Georges Riverkeeper elects new Executive Group

Teamwork makes the dream work! ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ to our newly elected Georges Riverkeeper Executive Group who have been appointed to the following positions:ย 

โ€ขย ย  ย Georges Riverkeeper Chairperson, Cr. George Barcha (Fairfield City Council)ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Georges Riverkeeper Vice Chairperson, Cr. Paul Sedrak (Bayside Council)
โ€ขย ย  ย Georges Riverkeeper Second Vice Chairperson, Cr. Stephen Nikolovski (Sutherland Shire Council)
โ€ขย ย  ย Georges Riverkeeper Treasurer, Cr. Peter Mahoney (Georges River Council).

We also welcome a new representative to the Georges Riverkeeper Committee, from Fairfield City Council, Cr. Carmen Lazar OAM.

The Georges Riverkeeper Executive Group are elected annually and meet monthly to make operational and management decisions.

We'd like to say a big ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ธ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ to the outgoing Executive Group: Former Chairperson Cr. Michael Banasik (Wollondilly Shire Council), Former Vice Chairperson Cr. Matt Stellino (Campbelltown City Council), Former Treasurer Cr. Rey Manoto (Campbelltown City Council) who have worked with diligence over the past 12 months.
