Georges Riverkeeper Executive Group Meeting - July 2021

The Executive Group were very happy that the Georges Riverkeeper Annual Workplan and Budget were unanimously passed at the General Committee meeting in June and congratulated the Georges Riverkeeper Team for their hard work in pulling together a great workplan that looks to implement the final year of the Georges Riverkeeper Strategic Plan 2018-2022. Georges Riverkeeper were approached by StormwaterNSW to partner in delivering the inaugural franc.sydney conference which looks to challenge the rationality of current practices and perceptions of urban stormwater and its management by bringing together industry, science and the community.

There are many different stakeholders and landowners in the Georges River Catchment who all have a responsibility to manage their land in a way that ensures there is a minimal impact on the river and its ecosystems.
