Plans to honour a few Committee members who have made a huge impact the Georges River and Georges Riverkeeper were solidified at this meeting and will take place at the AGM. Georges Riverkeeper are the recipient of a $60,000 NSW EPA grant to develop a Litter Prevention Strategy, which will feed directly into our new Strategic Plan and will be included in the development of the Georges River Catchment CMP. Georges Riverkeeper is working with the other catchment groups in drafting a response to the Ministers call for submissions regarding the 5-year review of the Coastal Management Act 2016.

Members

There are many different stakeholders and landowners in the Georges River Catchment who all have a responsibility to manage their land in a way that ensures there is a minimal impact on the river and its ecosystems.
