Meet our new Aquatic Ecologist
Marion Huxley has over 17 years’ experience in ecology, during which time she has developed a wide range of skills. She identified a range of macroinvertebrates, fish and frog species. She has undertaken field surveys including assessments of land use, riparian flora, and aquatic flora and fauna. During her studies and career she has gained a good understanding of scientific design and data collection.
Marion cares deeply about the environment and has joined the Georges Riverkeeper team to coordinate the River Health Program, leading the collection and analysis of waterway monitoring data across the Georges River catchment, as well as coordinating the Research Program, partnering with universities and other research organisations to foster research and discovery in the catchment.
Welcome Marion!
