The Georges River Estuary Coastal Zone Management Plan provides a strategic framework and action plan for the future management of the Georges River Estuary. It aims to redress current issues, and conserve existing values, using a range of implementation mechanisms, including planning instruments, on-ground works, and education programs. The Plan includes an indicative costing, potential funding sources, and identifies key agencies and Councils for responsibility of implementation and future monitoring.
