Welcome back Beth

We are pleased to announce that Beth Salt, Georges Riverkeeper Program Manager returned from maternity leave earlier this year after welcoming a baby boy just over 12 months ago. A dynamic leader, she is looking forward working with our member councils to implement the final year of the Georges Riverkeeper 2018-2022 Strategic Plan while planning for the subsequent four years.

In addition to her role as Program Manager, Beth coordinates our Stormwater Program which aims to improve the quality of stormwater entering the river. She’s also working on several projects, including the Environmental Restoration Fund Grant which focuses attention on gross pollutants (litter) in stormwater, and the Coastal Zone Management Program which is a long-term strategy for managing the coastal zone which takes into account historical events, current conditions, and future trends including population growth, environmental conditions, and climate change.
