The GRCCC’s strength continues to grow as we deliver core programs on behalf of our nine member Councils. Program improvements have been implemented, which were informed by studies and external reviews. We have also seen the addition of substantial new program resources over the year. These include the Australian Government’s Biodiversity Fund grant, Aboriginal Riverkeeper Team and also three Green Army Teams working across the Georges River catchment. Member Councils and our partners and stakeholders who share the collective responsibility for protecting and improving the Georges River are working together to ensure we fulfill our vision and mission.
