The GRCCC had a great year, receiving widespread recognition and nationally acclaimed awards for its programs that continue to deliver improvements to the overall river health across the catchment.
The GRCCC was one of three finalists in the annual International RiverFoundation 2012 Australian Riverprize award.
This is the largest prize for environmental achievement in the country and the GRCCC was the only finalist from NSW. The award recognises and supports those who have developed and implemented outstanding, visionary and sustainable programs in river basin management and on ground improvements to river health. This award reflects the strength of GRCCC programs.
